The end of a meme…

What is the chance that they’re all gone world-wide by the end of the year?

  1. I’ve said this on FB already, but I think a great alternative would be ribbons – with messages written in indelible pen for spur of the moment “I have to declare my love” urges, with machine embroidered messages for people who like to do things properly (surely a more lucrative business than selling locks – post your messge and receive your embroidered message in stitch size and colour of your choice on ribbon length, weave and colour of your choice in 48 hours) and for the creative people out there, the ultimate personal expression of love: the hand embroidered message. OK, there will no longer be any glinting in the sun but lots of fluttering, colourful and gently fraying things on future photos.
