Twitter Updates for 2009-12-09
Chad Hurley from YouTube
“I was looking for a sport and F1 seemed interesting”
Chad Hurley
Is he serious? He was looking for a sport?
How many videos of this interview will be on YouTube tonight?
Pure Genius…
Don’t come for lunch…
It’s now almost a rule of LeWeb. The first day’s lunch is poor; this year was no exception.
Mike Arrington grows up…
Arrington has been at LeWeb for the last few years.
Usually he’s a pain the rear end trying to create a news story and being stupidly critical.
This year he seems to have grown up. He’s just managed to chair an interesting discussion without looking for a fight.
At last, the triumph of facts over form.
Where is Hugh?
Just realized that Hugh isn’t here! Looking at the Twitter feed doesn’t look like he will be either.
Sad!
Twitter on stage…
What are the chances that the blue whale will make an appearance?
Seriously this is tempting fate.
Argh: Another offer that is US only…
I was all ready to get out my credit card and give Google some money. This might be the first time!
Then I see the small print…
- Valid only in US and Canada, only for users buying paid storage for the first time.
LeWeb: Count the references to Apple…
Looking down the list of sponsors it’s interesting who is missing. IBM, Apple, Amazon are not here and I can understand why they’ve stayed away. There is no system integrator on the list which is amazing considering we’re in the home of Cap and Atos.
However, the odd one out is Apple; although they’re not here, they’re already the most prominent company! First interview was a demo for an Apple app!!!
