A few questions…
- Under what conditions will you hand over my logs?
- If I’m in a log when you hand it over the government. Will you tell me?
- Do I have a right of appeal?
- Will you hand over my credit card information?
- Will you give over my logs to a foreign government?
My Fon just got placed in a box this afternoon. It’s still not stable. This news means that it’ll probably never leave the box again.
Hmmmm….I get the fact that he can turn over someone’s info to a particular government if someone is using our public connection unlawfully; after all a guest shouldn’t treat the host that way by doing ilegal activities. However, does he reserve the same right to do that with our own “secure” connection that is reserved for our personal use on the 2.0N? Meaning, if I’m using Transmission (via 2.0N console)to download copyrighted material, will I be handed over as well? Let’s say a backdoor is programmed in and someone can snoop on my activities. Hmmmm….I think I understand the previous post about putting it in a box and not hooking it up again. This is a very scary thing of Biblical proportions, Governments are becoming too controlling, 2012 will be upon us soon, maybe this is the “beginning of the end”. Round us all up, put bar-codes on us to keep track of us better. The internet is quickly losing it’s luster, soon we’ll all have the same constraints as the Chinese and technology will move backwards instead of fowards with the lack of freedom.
