Nine Points…

Liverpool sale may collapse if nine points are deducted | The Guardian

Does their whole business case fall down over a difference of nine points? This seems very flaky.

Douglas Coupland is a genius.

At some sort of deep level he is capable of expressing how I feel; it’s almost frightning.

The suburbs are doomed, especially thoseE.T. , California-style suburbs

This is a no-brainer, but the former homes will make amazing hangouts for gangs, weirdoes and people performing illegal activities. Kenneth Clarke on geeks…

“If I was a sort of floating voter, I would say ‘this is a very attractive sort of geek here, but is he actually anybody who can run anything’? Geeks are people who should advise people who lead countries and lead governments, it seems to me.”
