Some of these are lovely. Here’s hoping that they go into print…

Vanity Fair asks an interesting question. And then lists the top 22 buildings since 1980.
Architecture’s Modern Marvels | Culture | Vanity Fair
The list looks good to me but there are no houses!!! Seriously, not one?
Interestingly after spending trillions and going through the largest construction boom of modern times. London has just the Lloyds building, which to me is a copy of the Centre Pompidou which couldn’t make the list because it is pre-1980.
Finally, Dubai must also be upset!
This is quite funny…
However, one stupid question from a simple user…
Does this impact the iPad?
Every now and then technology brings a moment of magic. I remember seeing my first VHS program (James Bond!) and taking 15 mins to work out what was happening. Or the first time I saw GPS in a car. GoSkyWatch is one of those moments.
When I look at the sky at night, I see stars but have no knowledge of what they all are.
Hold your iPad up over the sky and it identifies what you’re seeing. It’s beyond incredible.

Found this by accident and so far it’s worked for me very well. I actually get stuff done (sort of).

It’s well worth the money and has more options than you’ll ever use.

I spend far too much time reading RSS feeds, they’ve completely changed the way that I experience the web. I don’t visit news and magazine sites, they come to me. It’s also completely stopped my consumption of real newspapers.
Reeder is an RSS reader app. A very simple one however;
– it’s beautiful to look at. Someone has spent a lot of time thinking about the icons and the effect is lovely.
– it’s quick. You never wait and the sync with Google is amazingly quick.
– the iPhone app isn’t bad either!

And, the app is here…
So three people have asked me what apps I’m using on the IPad. Seems that it’s the dinner table conversation of the mement!
Rather than a email, I’m going to start documenting them here.
Upgraded almost without issue in less than an hour.
It really is very good software.
