Hear this before…
…Loïc seems obsessed about the language issue. We have the same interview each year!
What is interesing is that the Google guy is obsessed by the idea not the problems. I suppose that is what a few billion dollars in the bank does for you.
In a tie…
David Weinberger is standing next to me and he’s in a tie!
There must be less than ten in the room.
Gilmor misses the punchline…
…where was the “Office is dead” mantra?
The traditional opening double act…
Every year they start proceedings without a script and in a fit of giggles; it’s the Mr and Mrs Loïc show!
Bit of a cringe for the Brits around the room.
OK. Let’s get going…
They’ve gone all Olympics on us…
The layout of the room is different this year; the radical change is that there are five rows of tables at the front for the VIPs.
Only problem is that they are sitting up straighter and therefore they’re slightly taller than the rest of the room. So we’re sitting behind a barrier.
Argh!
Arrived…
In the room, have a seat. Found a plug. There is even WI-Fi!!!
Wait for the first complaints; there are less plugs than usual.
Sleep well…
Please be on form tomorrow!!!
“…too beat to actually look stuff up…”
